The Recruitment period is fully dry - no alcohol or other controlled substances are allowed In order to uphold integrity throughout the Recruitment process and insure that PNMs receive the most holistic Recruitment experience, Stanford University policy explicitly forbids fraternities from providing PNMs with alcohol or any other controlled substances during the Recruitment period, with strict penalties for fraternities violating this policy. In addition, PNMs are not to come to Recruitment events while intoxicated or bring their own alcoholic beverages/substances to such Recruitment Events. We promise this policy will provide you the best opportunity to get to know a Chapter and determine if it is a good fit for you.
PNMs may not be in contact with fraternity members on nights the fraternity doesn’t have a Recruitment event Outside of Recruitment events, PNMs may not be in contact with fraternity members after 5:00pm on nights that a fraternity doesn’t have a Recruitment event (note this changes to after 2:00pm on Saturday/Sunday, and after 4:00pm on Tuesday/Wednesday of Week 2).
